Louisville, KY Day 2
Feb/10N/A
Well I survived my first day at Louisville, barely. I basically was up for 36 hours straight haha. Never done that before. I’m not complaining. At a certain point it was, lets see how long I can go.
I woke up at 10:00a.m. Sunday morning and spent all day getting ready for my trip. Left for the airport at 2:00a.m. Took off at 5:19a.m. to Charlotte, NC and ran to make my connection to get to Louisville. Worked on the Buyback video brainstorming till 5:00p.m. with all the retail managers from all of our locations. Spent about an hour at the hotel answering emails, texts, and phone calls and headed out to dinner. Went to a really cool place, Boombozz? for pizza and beer. Got back to the hotel just to go to the bar next door for any hour before I stumbled back to my room and passed out.
Today we shot 95% of the Buyback video. I’m happy with the outcome and will be capturing and slicing the rough cut up tomorrow and hopefully getting the last two pieces we need to rap this bad boy up. Plus tomorrow we will be planning the Rush video to be shot Thursday. I think I can have a good amount done tomorrow. I need to hunker down and concentrate on it. I was going to capture tonight but I wouldn’t last long. I wanted to type something up tonight on here to keep up the blog. Even though no one reads this damn thing.
Everyone who is up here or in town for the retreat is AMAZING and super nice! I’m meeting a lot of people. Everyone is congratulating me on my promotion with the company and they all comment on my previous video for the company. It’s a little overwhelming. But in a great way. I am so happy things are finally looking like they are on the up. I hope it keeps up. Are all business trips this awesome?
